Waiting Staff Job Descriptions:

Waiting staff or sometimes called Waiters or Waitresses are employed to look after customers needs while dinning. Waiting staff will meet and greet the customer as they arrive at a restaurant or function and deal with their food and drink requests. The Waiting staff will usually be co-ordinated and managed by the Restaurant Manager. Waiting staff should be highly customer focused, attentive to the guests needs and have good communication skills.
