This job title has many different position associated with it in the hospitality sector but the main focus is on security of a product or establishment. For example a Night Security Officer might have the following responsibilities:

• To ensure smooth running of night reception & concierge
• To ensure senior management are made aware of problems, incidents and opportunities
• To handle situations and emergencies
• To carry out inspections and tours of grounds
• To ensure all night staff are trained and fully aware of emergency procedures
