Job Descriptions Pub Management:

A Pub Manager is usually employed by a brewery to run a pub with regards to food, drink, maintenance, staff management & finances. The Pub Manager is usually a live in position where they will be paid a salary plus bonus depending on business performance and whether targets have been achieved. The Pub Manager will overall be responsible for a team of staff behind the bar, chefs in the kitchen, also waiting staff and cleaners.

Together with these responsibilities, they will also deal with deliveries from suppliers and all finances relating to the business and P&L accounts. Bar staff management and motivation are key parts to running a successful public house as many duties are carried out by a host of different people within the working environment.
