Maintenance Management Job Descriptions:

A Maintenance Manager or person working in the Maintenance department of a hotel for example will have responsibility for some of the following.

• Managing all maintenance needs and making sure all work is completed to both legal and company standards
• drawing up and completing routine maintenance and preventative maintenance schedules
• managing and working with any external contractors
• managing a departmental budget
• liasing with contractors during any refurbishment
• ensuring that the building is compliant with health & safety and fire regulations
• training and development and motivating of a team of staff
