Events Management Job Description:

An Events Manager normally works for a contract catering firm and is usually responsible for overseeing both corporate and leisure events from business conferences and lunches right through to weddings and formal private social situations and gatherings. Usually responsible for a team of people, the Events Manager is in charge of making sure that the event goes as smoothly and trouble free as possible.

Also in the job remit will be budget responsibility, health and hygiene, staff development and normally a proactive approach to selling through good communication and interpersonal skills.
