Chef Managers Job Description:

A Chef Managers role can be very similar to that of a Head Chefs role. Some of the responsibilities within this role might be: Staff management inside and outside of the confines of the kitchen, Kitchen legislation including all COSHH & HACCP procedures, Stock taking & rotation, Menu planning & costing.

A Chef Manager’s role might differ from that of a regular Head Chef in that the role might be more involved within a Contract Catering situation where there is more of an emphasis on outside catering at different venues.
